A recent listing on Square Enix’s Japanese store indicates that an Ultimania guide for Final Fantasy VII Remake is on its way and will be available, presumably in Japanese, for sale on April 28.
Amazon’s Japan site also lists the upcoming book.
Divided into eight sections, the book will contain a variety of information regarding the game’s mechanics, mini-games, items, and enemies, but will also dive into the characters and world, perhaps shedding more light on the mysterious nature of Remake’s narrative changes from the original.
The book will also include interviews with the development team as well as some possible retrospective looks back on the original title.
With no clear information about the wait for Remake’s second installment, this guide will be a great way to keep fans busy, pouring through more than 700 pages of content!
