- VR Stealth experience, Espire 1, sees a substantial content and quality of life update.
- Update is based on player feedback and requests.
- A PlayStation VR release is expected later this month.
Tripwire Interactive and Digital Lode, hoping to “set the new gold standard for the stealth genre in virtual reality” with Espire 1: VR Operative Assimilation, have published a free update to the stealthy VR game today. Check out the trailer for this update here:
The new update features brand new weapons, such as the “Vector SMG” and a sawed-off shotgun. Players can take these new guns into the update’s new game modes, focusing on everything from weapon challenges, to environmental puzzles, and even more stealth action.
The update also includes a number of “technical and quality of life gameplay improvements based directly on player feedback and requests.” Tripwire has included a full breakdown of these improvements on their site. This includes improvements from the gameplay itself, allowing players “recalibrate” their operative at any time, to improved loading times, and lighting rendering.
Espire 1: VR Operative is available on all major VR platforms on PC, and is expected to come to PlayStation VR later this month.
